Whether you're planning a special family event, an exclusive board meeting or a seminar, you simply won't find a more fascinating, impressive and memorable venue than le Manoir de Lezurec.

Situated in Southern Brittany, 7 km west of the picturesque fishing port of Audierne, and just 10 minutes walk from the beautiful beach of St Tugen, the Manoir is available for rental (by the week) throughout the year: either the entire chateau accommodating up to twenty guests, or divided into three smaller self-contained apartments.

The three apartments are as follows:
Le Grand Manoir comprises five large bedrooms with bathrooms, plus two extra bedrooms, comfortably sleeping up to twelve people.
The Garden Wing has two large bedrooms and one large salon/cuisine, and sleeps four.
La Garde (The Tower) accommodates four people: two bedrooms and two bathrooms on the upper floor; a large salon with grand fireplace on the first floor, and a large kitchen and extra downstairs WC.

Facilities at the Manoir include:
garden swimming pool with accessories
The 100 acres of grounds are for the exclusive use of Lezurec guests and include a small chapel - disused but charming - a 15th century dovecote, a tennis court, a lake and an apple orchard

Local amenities include:
excellent local shopping and restaurants
St Tugen beach only 1.5 km away
Audierne fishing village 7 km away

Brittany is unsurprisingly France's most visited destination, with its exquisite, rugged landscapes that span inland forests and coastlines, its extensive history, its unique and varied culture and heritage, its superb food and drink and its friendly, helpful people. For sightseeing, sports of all kinds and family activities, the region is hard to beat.

The region of Cap Sizun combines natural beauty, history, heritage, local culture and friendly people to create an almost limitless range of sight-seeing options to suit all tastes and ages. For the full story, contact the local tourist office in Audierne and they'll help you with your choice. You may wish to use bicycles - there are plenty of hire shops in the area.

Aside from world-class hospitality - naturally! - the great passion of the Goring family is sport - in particular sailing and horse-riding. Not least because of its proximity to one of France's great beaches, St Tugen (a short walk away), le Manoir de Lezurec is blessed with extraordinary local facilities.

If you like life on the water, there's sailing, canoeing, sea and river rowing, surfing (St Tugen is a renowned surfing beach), cruising, scuba diving, windsurfing and also fishing. As you'd expect, there's also a great deal of maritime heritage to be enjoyed here. And don't forget le Manoir's own delightful swimming pool!
