Audierne is the vibrant, colourful fishing port that's the nearest
big town to le Manoir. As well as being a wonderful place to visit in its own
right, it's where you'll find most of the shops, food and wine, hotels and
restaurants you may need during your stay at Lezurec. Getting there From
the gate of le Manoir go to the main road, go
left, drive straight to Audierne (about 4 km). Shopping. Local specialities include - of course - sea food, patisseries,
crêpes,
and don't forget the powerful apple brandy,
Calvados! For local legumes,
perfect croissants, superb seafood and a whole lot
more, go to Les Halles, the local daily market. Quimper porcelain makes an ideal gift or souvenir.
A fabulous
market On Saturday mornings, the Audierne market is one of the great features of the area - not only
a great way to stock up the larders at le Manoir,
but also good fun for everyone Hotels If you're organising a larger event, you
may need to
accommodate some of your guests off-site. We
recommend the following local hotels:
Le Goyen (Tel: 02 98 70 08 88)
Restaurants Cooking at le Manoir will always be
fun - especially with the limitless
range of delightful ingredients available to you
(not to mention our superb catering services!)- but when you feel the need to
pamper yourselves,
here are the restaurtants we recommend:
